What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!
We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.
You should have come here from Keryn Campbell so your almost done the whol blog hop. If you havent thats fine you can start with me and follow the links and have a travel around some wonder pages and work.
Please get a cuppa and some cakes as there will be lots to see and you wont wanna stop once your started.
Now I have a few things I wanna share with you all. So lets start with something Christmas like.
These cute little treat squares are made using the new Scalloped Square Die.
All I did was cut out the amount of wanted to do… then I just scored and folded… pop some holes in the four corners and then pop throu some ribbon and there done. They are perfect for the Christmas tree with just some little chocolates in them.
While I am showing you the Scalloped Square die.. Here is an easel card I made using the New Island Oasis Paper and a calendar for next year.. This makes for a great gift for someone.. as a desk calendar never goes astray.
(Not the best pic I know… but the weather here is really crappy and I cant seem to get any good photos atm)
Here is a Travel card I made for a swap but wanted to show case here as well. It not one using the Scalloped Square die, But also the Travel Journal DSP and Sentimental Journey stamp set.
Now let me show you a birthday card I made using the NEW grunge rock set and the lattice embossing folder. I made this for a swap I did recently and really
You could re-make this card using all different colours.
Last thing I want show you is a flower I made using the Island Floral Bigz Die and the new 2-3/8” scalloped circle extra large punch.
Most of you will have seen the scalloped flower that’s made in purple in the middle.. But I wanted to dress it up a bit so I use 2 of the 5 petal flower on the Island Floral die and made a base.. I am rather impressed how it come out. And it show it off nicely I attached it to the front of this gift box I made for someone special.
Next you are off to Susan Joyce blog where I am sure she will keep the wonderful flowing for your pretty eyes to see.
Have a wonderful day and hope to see you next time

My good friend Mad Hatter as known to all us Esad girls, or Jo by the rest of the world. Decided to do the Cancer Council fundraiser event held in her local area in Victoria. Jo put the call out for some help with tis event. With an expected 500 odd people congthrou the doors she wants some hand made goodies to sell to help raiser money for the cause.
So i got in and made a few things,
- Over 20 cards
- dozen boxes half made up the other half ready to be puttogether
- half doz fridge calenders
Also in the box were some beautiful scallaped flowers made by the lovely Aly.
I went looking the other day to see what else I could use the Cellophane bags Stampin Up sells besides putting chocolates in and small gifts. So I went looking and looking and then I found something simple and quick. A mini album, I would never have thought of this. So I decided to try and make one myself. This is my first attempted and I know there are things I will do differently when I do it again. I rather enjoyed this and I am planning on do some more up in boy colors for when the birth of my second child occurs. I am going to use them as thank you gifts to those who are so kind and send gifts to me. All I will need to do is pop in some photos and details of the baby once he is here. As I know I won’t have a lot of time then.
As you can see inside I have decorated the pages a little so there no plain.
Punch: Eyelet Border
DSP: Raspberry Tart
Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Clear Rhinestone Brads, Medium Flat Cellophane bags
With Christmas plans coming together and presents being wrapping. I might add some wow under the christmas tree this year.
Each year we normalled get a chocolate stock from a few members of the family and as much as i love them i wanted to give something a little different.
So i went looking for a box of sorts that i could make and put some little items in.
I found this treats box that is perfect for what i want. For the girls i am going to put some sample of the new summer mini embellishments into it, and for the boys im not too sure about them yet.. i might do something different.
I used some of my left over full sheet chipboard to make it nice and strong.
You could change the colours and do this up for children with little goodies. If this was too small you could change the size and make it bigger depending on the purpose. I am sure that you will see me make this more then once when different things come up.
If you are interesting in this item keep your eyes open for my bags and boxes mail order Kit coming in Jan 2010.
Well i best be off i still have things to do
Over the weekend i helped the girls make something that was off the page. This cute lil brag album or also called a starburst album. This idea come from me after i made the below and showed mum. Mine is not the exact same as theirs were made using CM black and white papers.
Heres Mine using SU products – First up shows you how small it is and the 2nd shows you want its like when it is opened up
This can be made larger and wider and also smaller if wanted to.
Wanna know how this is made.
You can purchases the instructions and all you need to make this item for just $15.00 includes postage within Australia
You get enough to make 2 albums, everything is pre-cut and all you need to do is assemble it.
You have the choice of colours.
Email me and i will send you details for payment.
I went to the fridge this morning and noticed that we are getting low on a few items, so i went to grab my note pad and pen i keep in the fruit bowl. But it wasn’t there. Someone has moved it, and knowing my hubby he has taken the note pad for his own use.
So i was thinking i really need one of those note pads that sticks to the fridge so…. off i went to my corner of the study that has all my crafting things.
I wanted something simply, re-usable and Blue… so it goes with the kitchen
So i sat and though and then i made this..
