The NEW space for Crafting

As promised here are pics of the NEW craft space.. AS you can see nothing is dumped it all gets its place. Isn’t it nice and tidy

Its not looking that bad, i have spent alot of hours in the room since it been set up and really enjoying the space. Now i have so much room to work with i feel the need to craft much more.

The Old Space(s) for Crafting

As promised i have some pics of the spaces i used to craft on. I used the dinning room table for my stampin space and i used part of our office for my scrapbooking. Everything was packed and dumped in spots as i never had enough room for it all.

With all the rain we have had lately my hubby was been stuck at home, and one day he come out with the idea of taking the kids tuff out of the rumpus room and turning it into my room. The kids werent using it and it was just a room gathering dust really. So here is what everything looked liked before

This is the dinning table where i would stamp.. Pretty messy

These three pics are of the office. As you can see things are piled high and dumped anywhere.

Now for the kids rumpus room before i took over

Tomorrow i will show you what everything looks like when i take over. So stay tuned!!

Rain Rain Go Away!

For the pass 2 weeks i have had hubby home as he cant work in this rain. As much as we need the water to fill out dams and tanaks which are now all over flowering.. I really need for the ground the dry up so hubby can  go back to and i can get some peace and quit time in my craft room.

Hubby has cabin fever as there is nothing much t do while stick indoors. as much as we trya dn get out most days to the shops or to see friends and family, he is still getting on my nerves.

The only good thing that has come out of this wet period is i know have my very own craft room. I have taken over the kids toy room which they wont use and set my self up with all my stuff in one place. It has taken 3 days to get everything sorted and 4 Large bags  for the bin but its completed.

I will post pics shortly of the before and afters.

Now for other things to look forward to. I have my some swaps back hat i can share now. I was waiting until everyone had theses so i didnt ruin the surprise. I have a New toy to show you. and i have a few cards i made a while back i can post. But before i can do all this i need to charge my Camera.

Keep checking for some wonderful pics.

Cancer Council Goodies

My good friend Mad Hatter as known to all us Esad girls, or Jo by the rest of the world. Decided to do the Cancer Council fundraiser event held in her local area in Victoria. Jo put the call out for some help with tis event. With an expected 500 odd people congthrou the doors she wants some hand made goodies to sell to help raiser money for the cause.

So i got in and made a few things,

  • Over 20 cards
  • dozen boxes half made up the other half ready to be puttogether
  • half doz fridge calenders

Also in the box were some beautiful scallaped flowers made by the lovely Aly.

Domonic’s 2nd Birthday

Its my Nephews 2nd birthday today and a week or so ago i made this Cute lil card that i cased from Regionals.

I cant remember who it was that did this WOW presentation, But it was really good.

As you can see i have used the Funky Four stamp set and used my markers to colour the lil mushrooms in giving them each a different colour. The scalloped background is done using our punch scalloped square and then just laying the squares to get them to cover the background. Really effective and a new lil trick i have learnt
